You might be wondering...

I recently bought four Superior Lock pads for the oriental rugs on my hardwood floors. I now wish to buy rug pads for braided wool rugs in high traffic areas. Three of the rugs measure 3ft x 5ft. Will the same pad work well for these?

Yes, it will. But something thinner may work better if you need clearance. You could look at RugPro or Contour Lock. Both are low-profile felt and natural rubber non-slip pads. RugPro is 1/16" thick and Contour Lock is 1/8" thick.

My 3' 1/2" x 5' wool rug is at the bottom of my stairs on a marble floor. It has a cheap rug pad under it and is constantly sliding across the floor and off the pad. Plus, the pad bunches up. What kind of pad do you recommend for keeping it in place?

What is the best pad for a 3'3" x 5'3" wool rug that is 1/2" thick and sits on a hardwood floor? Slipping is a concern.

What are advantages and disadvantages of Superior Lock 1/4 inch v. Comfortrip for smal lDhurrie style rugs (36 by 60 inches)?
