10 x 14 Rug Pads

For large area rugs, we almost always recommend a thick, cushioned rug pad for maximum comfort. We usually don’t stress non-slip grip with this size of rug unless you have a thin area rug that wrinkles or shifts.

You might be wondering...

What rug pad do you suggest for a 10x14 rug under a dining room table on a hardwood floor?

I would take a look at our Contour Lock pad. This is a low-profile 1/8" thick pad with a strong grip that also provides long-term floor protection and underfoot cushioned comfort without bulking.

Can you recommend a good rug pad for sound insulation? My rug is 10x14 and sits on a hardwood floor in an apartment with a grand piano.

I have a 10' x 14' rug on a limestone floor. My question is, do I order a rug pad that will be a little smaller or do you adjust for that? I would like a pad that sits back a little from the edge.

We are going to use an 10ft x 14ft piece of carpet as a rug on a high-end laminate floor. Which pad will protect the floor from scratches if the rug moves?

I’ve purchased a 10'x 14' rubber-backed seagrass rug for a hardwood floor. It won't move because there’ll be furniture on it so I don't need a non-slip pad. I am looking for a pad to protect the floor finish from the rug. What do you recommend?
