I have a very thick shag type rug that will be put on stained concrete. There will be a bed on top of the rug so I don't think slippage will be a problem. What rug pad and what thickness do you recommend?

As you are not concerned about slippage I'm going to recommend the generous cushioning of the Eco Plush all felt pad. I suggest the 1/4" thickness.

I have radiant heated artisan cement floors and need rug pads that will not melt, harden or turn to powder. What do you suggest? I have a large, flat wool tribal rug, and am thinking of getting a medium-sized propylene rug with a 1/4" to 1/2" pile.

What is the most comfortable pad to use under our 10' x 17' rugs in high humidity areas such as a basement? It does not flood but it is extremely humid. I am worried about moisture and smells.

I need a pad that provides a lot of cushioning and is appropriate for the finished masonry (brick) floor of a basement. While flooding is highly unlikely, it’s very humid down there and I’m concerned about water trapping and odors. What do you suggest?

What is the best pad for a large, antique Persian rug that is worn in places and will be put in a busy area over a painted concrete floor?
