I bought a polypropylene 11' x 15' rug for a cork floor. What would you recommend for a rug pad? Is Eco Plush OK? Would 3/8" be too thick for a pad and create a tripping hazard? Also, will the pad damage my floor?
The Eco Plush all felt pad will be ideal for your cork floor and there should be no problem with the 3/8" thickness. However, if you think this is too thick opt for the 1/4" thickness. In terms of safety Eco Plush won't damage your floor, in fact, it will cushion and protect it for many years. Felt is one of the safest materials to put down on floors.

Can you please recommend the best rug pad material for a cork floor? I have a small 2' x 3' area rug with a 1/2" pile. Thank you.
For that size rug I would suggest our Super Lock Natural, a powerful non-slip pad made with 100% natural rubber. It is safe for many different types of floor, including cork.
-
Which rug pads are safe to use on a cork floor that has a bona poly finish? I am looking for a rug pad with grip.
I recommend the powerful gripping attributes of our Contour Lock and Superior Lock felt and natural rubber pads. They anchor firmly to floors to prevent rug movements. Both are safe for your type of floor.
-
Can you tell me whether your rug pads are safe on cork flooring? I am particularly interested in the Super Lock Natural.
Our products are safe for all floors and finishes. For your cork flooring, I would also take a look at our Anchor Grip pad. This non-slip pad is a soybean oil-based polymer blend.
-
Which rug pads do you recommend for cork floors in Denver, Colorado which has super low humidity year-round?
If you need a low-profile rug pad, I would suggest RugPro or Super Lock Natural. If you want a non-slip pad with cushion go for Superior Lock. If grip is not needed then I would choose the Eco Plush all felt pad.

I am going to lay down some small bamboo bathroom rugs. Will your Anchor Grip pad work under bamboo on a cork floor? We have purchased Anchor Grip pads for larger rugs, and they have been awesome. No slipping!
That’s great to hear. Yes, Anchor Grip pads will work perfectly with your small bamboo rugs just as they are with your larger rugs.

I have a 1/4" Eco Plush pad for a Uzbek Turkish rug. Perhaps due to the large knots, the rug still slips. Could I put a rubber pad on top of this pad to prevent slippage? Ideally, I’d prefer not to have rubber next to the cork floor.
I suggest you contact your floor manufacturer to ask if rubber is safe for your floor type. Note that our rubber is natural rubber, not the synthetic kind. I don't recommend stacking the pads on top of each other because I cannot assure you that they will work properly. Have a look at our Superior Lock felt and natural rubber rug pad which has an excellent grip. Alternatively, you can try carpet tape to keep the rug on your current pad.

I have Anchor Grips and a Superior Lock pad. The trouble is my area rug walks. I put the rubber side down, is that correct? If so, why is the rug still walking? Could I put an Anchor Grip on top of a Superior Lock pad to stop the problem?
To start with the rubber side of the Superior Lock pad goes down, but if the rug is not heavy enough sometimes it will walk. For lighter weight smaller rugs the best pad is the Anchor Grip. If you put this over the Superior Lock pad, it will solve your problem. Finally, with both pads you will not notice any real difference in height.

I have cork flooring and was told not to use rubber-backed rug pads. I need a pad that will prevent slipping that is not rubber-backed. What do you suggest?
I would ask you to contact your floor manufacturer to check whether PVC vinyl is okay for your floors. If it is then I would suggest the Anchor Grip rug pad. This superb gripping non-slip pad is a soybean oil-based polymer blend with zero rubber content.
-
I am in need of a non-slip rug pad for a rug that is approximately 4' x 6'2". However, I have been told not to use rubber-backed pads with cork flooring, so what do you suggest?
If your floor manufacturer is saying no rubber, then Anchor Grip is the pad you want to go with. This is a soybean oil-based polymer blend pad with no rubber content. It has exceptional non-slip traction that stops rugs from moving.

My semi-circular wool hearth rug has a jute backing. Part will be on cork flooring and part will be on a wool hand-knotted Turkish rug. What pad is recommended and can it be custom cut? I want to protect the Turkish rug from abrasive wear by the jute.
I would recommend the Superior Lock felt and natural rubber pad. This firm gripping non-slip pad will keep your rug stable, provide you with a very comfortable level of cushioning and protect your floor and Turkish rug from the jute backing. Regarding custom cutting, this is a free service we offer and we can cut a pad to perfectly fit the semi-circular shape of your rug. All you have to do is enter its exact dimensions and leave us a special instruction stating that this pad is for a semicircle-shaped rug.
